Yes, I’m really looking forward to his set as well. He’s perfect for the late afternoon/early evening. Not that this sort of thing matters to me, but I bet you that his set is going to a hot chick magnet. You might want to check out this thread as well:

That second clip sold me. Hopefully I can catch his set.![]()
You guys are like 5 years late on this.
If you're into him maybe you should check out Joanna Newsom or Noah Georgeson who produced albums for both Joanna(his ex who also dated Bill Calahan and was in a cult with the 2 of them as well as a band called the Pleased with Joanna)
I doubt we'll hear more than 2 songs from Cripple Crow/Nino Rojo/Rejoicing
=(
LIL' B
He's high up on my list of acts that are MUST SEE. I've been listening to his albums since Rejoicing, but haven't had the chance to catch him live yet. Should be odd and awesome, just like his music.
^ really? you and i usually have similar tastes
what have you listened to so far?
guy version of Stevie Nicks. Blegh.
I'm not a barricuda, even though I flash the teeth...
i think he's cool (his music. not his style necessarily)
listen to: Be Kind
if you dont feel urged to sing along
than you can hate all you want![]()
look up "be kind" on Nino Rojo. thats probably my favorite, if you dont like that song, i dont know what to say, but if you think its alright, let me know and i shall recommend more![]()
i think that songs funny.
i really like devandra b. because his lyrics remind me of a funny/smart toddler
i just cant stand his singing , whatever the hell you call it he does . the music on the other hand is talented , i can listen to that , unfortunately its not just instrumental . i will pass on this set . my choice , my opinion
INTENSE REALITY OF A DREAM
yeah word grant.
but everybody hyping the shit out of grown men who wear helmets on stage and pretend to be robots with some of the most repetitive beats and even more repetitive "lyrics" totally makes sense.
calm down man, you're supposed to get bitched at before you pull the "it's my opinion and you can't tell me i'm wrong" card.
now now quicksand , i never said " you cant tell me im wrong " , i wouldnt do that , and if i get bitched at for not liking Banhart , then oh well , it wont hurt my feelings .
INTENSE REALITY OF A DREAM
That's more of putting on an entertaining show. Guess you don't like acts like Kraftwerk, or the Bloody Beetroots, either, 'cause they're putting on a show. Saying something like that is like saying you only like high school plays with shitty production, 'cause they're better that way than like a big budget film. Most dance music is repetitive, didn't you know? And seeing some dude sitting indian-style with a drug rug on and an acoustic guitar is something you'd see in a big city in a dark alley, where you'd get mugged, and possibly raped.
DADDDDDDDDD
devendra was the best

Haha did anyone else see Flea from the Chili Peppers on stage during Devendra's set? He was just chillin in the vip section.
