The show in SB last night was awesome! They played She's A Jar that I requested for my brother since its his favorite song of theirs! So many great moment. Opening with Reservations>Art of Almost was superb, the nothings of Misunderstood were crushing, the new songs like I Might, Standing O, & Whole Love were all insanely fun, and the past tunes from all their albums like Heavy Metal Drummer, Shot in The Arm & Handshake Drugs just can't be beat. It was SUCH an excellent show. And Nels Cline is my new hero.
Pretty confident they played their setlist as is, except they closed with Hoodoo Voodoo instead of I'm A Wheel (which I also requested, but alas there is always next timeHoodoo Voodoo was quite a closing celebration though!
I will go to every Wilco show I can from now on. Totally floored.

Wilco think they are SO funny:
http://wilcoworld.net/#!/the-whole-l...on-piano-roll/Answering the call from octogenarian fans and audiophiles worldwide, Wilco have finally released their Grammy-nominated 2011 album The Whole Love on piano roll. In partnership with Player Piano Store Day (PPSD) 2012, each 30-gram, onion-paper pressing of The Whole Love has been hand-punched in Munich and will be available April 31. "Wilco pride themselves on authenticity and a respect of the American musical tradition, so what better way to honor that heritage than to listen to The Whole Love on a barely functioning piano in a dusty antique store," writes Chief Wilco Strategist Lucy Lillabee. "Besides, these things cost like $1 to make, and hipsters are going to eat this shit up." All proceeds from piano roll sales will be donated to ChicagoBase, an Illinois non-profit that will come clean out your grandmother's basement if you want.

No Solid Sound Fest this year but the Mass MoCa show is gonna be a benefit deal.
Solid Sound will return in 2013, so sez the website.
The Newport show is a kickoff to the Newport Folk Fest which will be the cherry on top of a tasty treat of a lineup.
It takes a fast car, lady,
To lead a double life.
Wilco just posted the recording of their Palladium show from earlier this year. Figured I'd post in case any of you guys were there.

Why woudl they want to play vegas? And The hollywood bowl is after those shows.
They played Vegas in 2009. The Bowl show is the 30th, no reason why they couldn't play a Vegas show before going to LA.
Not saying it will happen, but it could.
