easy to get from indio bus station to/from the camping area?

This will be my first time to Coachella. I will be camping. I plan to fly into LAX (lots of flights, easy to get another if you get there late on the last day) and taking a bus from LA to Indio and back. That part is easy and can be planned. The big question is how easy will it be for me to get from the bus station in Indio to the campground on Thursday/Friday and get back on Monday?

Oasis st south to hwy 111. Turn right on hwy 111. left on monroe . polo fields are on monroe and 50th about 2 miles from hwy 111. you can get a taxi there. or if not find some one to pick you up.

I had trouble finding a cab back to the bus station Monday morning in 2006...all the cabs kept saying "airport only." Do your best to make friends with people at camp and hope and pray one of them will give you a ride to spare yourself potential drama.

I'm taking the Greyhound there and it's only a three mile walk between the two.
