We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.
New song from the Jason Segel movie Jeff Who Lives at Home, and it does not disappoint.

The Black Angels - 5/22 - Hotel Congress
Devo - 5/24 - Rialto Theatre
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - 5/30 - Rialto Theatre
Beck at Sasquatch was so much fun. "Mutherfucker" was just surreal with Jack Black rolling around the stage and I think "The Golden Age" was just about the prettiest thing of the whole festival.
And that CG song is pretty damn awesome until Glover starts rapping..
Vampire Weekend (4/18) ~ Sigur Ros (4/19) ~ Old Crow Medicine Show (4/28) ~ Rolling Stones (5/2) ~ Born Ruffians (5/6) ~ Yo La Tengo (5/9) ~ Rhye (5/10) ~ Baths (6/28) ~ Latitude Music Festival (7/21) ~ End of the Road Festival (8/30 - 9/1)
I like it. Beck should make a hip hop album.
5/12 - Acid Mothers Temple - Casbah
5/13 OoOoOo - Soda Bar
5/19 Black Angels / Hanni El Khatib - Belly Up
5/29 Junip - Troubadour
5/30 John Talabot - Echoplex
6/2 Bjork - Hollywood Palladium
You could make a pretty solid compilation going through his catalog and picking out the songs with that hip hop side of this. I may do this.
Odelay
Sea Change
Mutations
Mellow Gold
Midnight Vultures
Guero
One Foot in the Grave
Modern Guilt
Information
Stereopathic Soulmanure
Sometimes Midnight Vultures is higher than Mellow Gold.
