The Official 2009 Coachella Scavenger Hunt

Ivankay and I brainstormed this one out (I must confess that most of these ideas were Mikes)...please review and if you have suggestions on what should be included, poast it.

Rules: All tasks must have photographic evidence. The photograph has to have been obviously taken on the Polo Fields, in the campsite, or in your hotel. It must be obvious that your picture was taken in one of these locations.

Winner is the person that has the most tasks completed (any suspicious pictures will be closely evaluated by our resident photographer). In the even of a “task tie”, the person that submits their evidence the soonest wins.

Prize: An exciting non-sanctioned mystery prize donated by our fearless helper girl (this is similar in style to the prize donated for Menik's festival contest). This is in no way a Goldenvoice endoresment or a prize FROM Goldenvoice per sey. It could be super cool, and it could be super cheesy. But it's a prize just the same.

Deadline: April 30 (that gives you 10 days to upload your crap, slackers).

A band at the artists signing table (1 pt for each DIFFERENT band/artist)
Hotshot the Robot
Someone wearing a flag
Someone (or yourself) wearing a trash can lid hat

Someone getting medical treatment

A group of tailgaters
Someone wearing a fedora
A pic with Brandon
A pic with Feather in the Sahara
Someone plugging their ears during MBV (again, must obviously be at the MBV set)
Mattie (betao) striking a capoeira pose
Me giving you the finger
Someone crying

Shot of five or more boardies together (must be at least 5, will be awarded one point for each boardie over five --i.e. 6 boardies = 6 points. DOUBLE POINTS if the group is doing a pyramid.)
Bare boobs (don't post here)

A pic with Salah at the Killers set (must obviously be the Killers)

This sounds awesome. If I had used all of my photos taken of last year's Coachella, I would have already had like 15 points. Which includes two separate pictures of kroqken on two separate occasions. So this should be fun!

Thanks. i'm of the opinion anyone can take good pictures with a good read of the manual, the ability to stay still, a little practice and thinking something looks cool. Do not wish. Do.

Signing table is too easy. Getting a picture of them at the table gets you a point though. Maybe 2 points for posing with them at the table. i also think you should be able to rack up multiple points for different artists at the booth. This requires Captn' Consultation.
