Getting cheaper tickets for lolla/bonnaroo?

hi all, sorry if this has been mentioned in the respective festival threads.

i know there have been a few c'hella threads that mention that people often sell their tickets on the day for cheaper etc etc, and that it's possible to be a "concert chicken" as one guy put it

i've never been to bonnarro/lolla but i plan to this year, and am wondering if it might be the same? my guess would be yes but i figured i'd ask people who've gone and might have done this.
