sadly, we maxed out on numbers for our area, but i think there are some others solo camper groups you can join. either way, look for us to come hang out with and say hi wherever your tent ends up.
Thanks! how can I find you?

I guess I will use my tent just to throw my stuff in and sleep a couple of hours anyway

    ha, good question.

    best bets:
    - if you look back a page or two in this thread you'll see a procrastinators logo with a skull and crossbones or swords or something? i think we're having a couple of those made ?
    - aside from that there should be a lakers flag, a saskatchewan flag (thats me), and a california republic flag. google image search 'em ahead of time if you dont know what they look like.

I'll have our group name on some neon yellow signs on my canopy. Look one page back and you will see the picture of the signs.

My truck decided to take a crap on me this morning as I was on my way to work. Luckily, my procrastination with my taxes caused me to get up an hour earlier than usuall so I was able to get it to the shop and get to work on time. It will be ready for the trip.

Everyone have a safe flight/drive. I'll see you all tomorrow. I don't have the time to put out my schedule but I'm sure you'll see me trying to clone myself to see TV on The Radio, Calexico and Tinariwen at the same time. What a f'n conflict that turned out to be.

Other than that, no big conflict issues.

    Also,

I've got a truck. If you win the Filter party pass, let me know. I'm sure we can pile 60 bodies in the bed. The winner can sit on my lap.

Safe travels & God's speed to everyone! Looking forward to meeting up with everyone. In true procrastinator's form, I still need pick up a few things like: toiletries (paper, seat covers, wipes, maybe a some air freshener?), non-parishable food/snacks, a decent pair of cheap shades that I don't mind losing/damaging during a mosh pit, an extra sleeping bag for the Mrs. & oh ya, an airmatress cuz there's no way in hell i'm gonna put up with her b!tching all nite about how hard the ground is. Then I can come back and do some last minute laundry & pick up some SD & microSD cards for our camera & blackberrys....ETA 930pm Thursday.

I've heard it's harder to do but cooler. I have a light that you can use if it's too dark.

Yea tell me about it... I haven't even taken my tent out of the garage yet. I still need to wash, pack, and go shopping for necessities and food/booze. Oh yea and pick up my ganja for the weekend. Damn I gotta do all this and I just won tickets to see Aterciopelados tonight in the conga room! Hey does anybody know how late we can check into the campsite on Thurdays El Gran Silenco is playing on Thursday in Whitter and I wanna try and catch some of their set before heading down over to the campsite.

I am bringing one, it is 10'x13'...technically our individual spaces are 8x8 so we'll basically just have to be creative. We do get a space for each individual person so room shouldn't be a problem, but shade definitely will so we should try and hook everybody up with as much as possible after we get our own digs locked down.

So will I be good with a 10x10 tent for 2 people?

I need to do all of these things also. Someone please bring us some goodies? Were flying, so bringing our own is out of the question. Will have plenty of money, car and booze. Need gonja and trippy things!

yeah you'll be fine...technically you've got 128 sq ft of real estate to use it's just the shape will be a bit different (10x10 only equals 100 sq ft). we'll all have plenty of room I'm sure and besides, part of the reason that we formed a camping group is for things like this where we can all come together and make sure everybody gets taken care of with space/shade/booze etc.

And don't forget about renting a locker online at http://lockersonline.com/reserve.html
Load it up on Friday w/ goodies like water, snacks, blankets, long sleeve shirts, pants for night time & not have to lug it back n forth to your tent every day.

Crashing sounds fun, but is it really far from the campsite? I'd rather buy booze and not have to drive than have a wasted open bar because of a long commute!

I was hoping for some vodka, so you hit the nail on the head. If you pick me up one of these, I'll give you 20, or equivalent. If not, it's cool too.

Why don't you head over to Downey, they have penty of dope spots. There's a pub called Kelly's that is super chill. Oh and the Holly Gully plays 80's on Saturdays.... don't worry I'll tell all about all the spots around there over a few beers tomorrow. Don't forget to save me a shaddy spot next to you, since I'll be there late on Thursday night, after some booty shaking in whitter jajajaja
