If anyone is staying for both weekends and r bored during the week hit me up!! Temecula is only a short 45 min drive from the fest!! haha

Take lots of pictures and make sure to post them!! Hope you all have fun! and thanks for the offer Manolo! If I could afford it I would be there in a minute

I've been getting PMs from potential new members.

    All told, we have:

    Taylor (from 2009)

No0m1! (who may not be able to arrive until 2)
    ClarkWGriswold
    jgafs
deepseabreeze (although i'm not quite sure what his flight/arrival sitch is)

    lou (ldot)
    me
    manolo
    kevin (ibuprofane)
    grifter
    joy (justjoy)
    ohreally
    ReveurConstant

We're getting close to time to work out meeting logistics. I was thinking meeting 1 at Ralph's; manolo seemed to be thinking noon. What does everyone else think?

I'll be getting out there a little earlier to swing by Will Call at the Tennis Gardens...so whatever time works best for the group, I'm down for.

Hello, I'm going solo to Coachella for my first time and wanted to join the procrastinators camp group.. is there a group for weekend 2? It seems like everyone on this thread is going weekend 1. Let me know.

We do welcome all new members, but Eddie has a good point: i'm trying to organize Weekend 1, because that's the weekend most of us are going; it's not even clear to me that we have a group for weekend 2.

Indio Earthquake hits Coachella! Does anyone think this would be awesome if one hit during the festival?

Conceptually i mean,...minus all the certain loss of life and devastation.

I'll be coming from Ramona that morning, so any time's good. I'd think the earlier the better though, since camping opens at 9 this year.

I'll have one - let's hope it doesn't end up being blown into Arizona by the end of the weekend.

    Name: Richard
    Arriving: Friday morning
    Coming from: LAX
    Staying: through Monday morning.
Something contribute to the group: I shall trade copious booze, food and conversation for room in a tent.

    As of today, we're 13/14:

    slightfoot82
    ride a tire!
    clark w griswold
    taylor
    jgafs
    lou/ldot
    manolo
    kevin/ibuprofane
    grifter
    joy/justjoy
    ohreally
    reveurconstant
    deepseabreeze?
    me

    plus

    the karmakazie

    ------------------

it looks like everyone wants earlier rather than later, which makes sense; IIRC the sense last year was that we should try for earlier.

So: meet at Ralph's at noon, with the expectation that manolo+lou will be the last people to arrive?

Can everyone PM me their phone #? Then I can send a list to the entire group, which will let us contact each other if traffic is making us late. (Aaryn kept a list last year and did text message blasts, but he's not coming, and i'm not able to do text message blasts. )

Hi! Tried to message you but your mailbox is full. We'll meet you all at noon at the Ralphs. We have a two room tent about 10'x14' that we were planning on bringing, and also a 10' pop up canopy. Is that tent size ok? Or should we bring smaller? Other people are welcome to stay in it, I'm sure there is room. I'm not sure though exactly, it's brand new. Let me know what else needs bringing. Oh, btw we have a hyundai accent hatchback.
