wrong, weezer did a summer tour in 2000 and actually hit up a shit ton of venues... i know i saw them at the crest in sacramento, cactus club in san jose, slims in sf, and a water park in fresno.

I've grown to despise KROQ so much that I don't think I could bring myself to shell out $75 for the Weenie Roast no matter who's playing.

I'm sooooooo sick of them killing bands by overplaying them into the ground, the most recent casualty being Rise Against. They've literally played the last 4 KROQ shows in a row - WR-AAC-WR-AAC.

There is a woman here in the office next to mine. She is like...41 or so. I have always disliked KROQ. Now, I fucking despise kroq. She has the kroq license plate frame, the kroq stickers, the keychains, and yes, listens to kroq from early morning when she starts to the end of the day when she leaves. I've got my music and such going on, but I can still kind of hear her shit all day. Miserable. I don't understand the obsession. She calls Kevin and Bean more than I call my grandma. Our conversations on music usually go like this "hey matt I heard they announced the coachella line up on the kroq website today." "yeah" "i only know of like 3 bands, why are you spending so much money to go??" "die"

I completely understand the sentiment, but Rise Against were terrible long before they were overplayed.
