it could be may 16th, but one of the DJs had anberlin on the other night, and they were hinting at playing weenie roast the whole time. the only time they're around here is june 6th, same with 311. lets just hope this flow of crappy bands doesn't continue.

May 16th. Kings of Leon isnt playing in L.A., they do Arizona, then Santa Barbara and its a Radio festival in SB. So why move it and also not have such a big draw like KOL on the bill.

If the Killers couldn't couldn't headline AAC this year, then KOL can't headline Weenie Roast. Plus, a headlining group probably wouldn't have an another LA date already announced.

they both played the Almost Acoustic Christmas if memory serves me right....but Offspring have played a LOT of KROQ events over the years, and Rise Against has become rather chummy as well, so i wouldn't put it past them

Green Day and Blink 182 also have a very solid history with the station...and seeing how KROQ had the pleasure of hosting the first WEEZER come-back show at AAC 2000 i could definitely see Weenie Roast being the first (or one of) blink-182 comeback shows

wrong, weezer did a summer tour in 2000 and actually hit up a shit ton of venues... i know i saw them at the crest in sacramento, cactus club in san jose, slims in sf, and a water park in fresno.
