the motel 6 @ 595 E palm canyon dr. i booked this shortly aftr coachella last year and this was the closest i could get. just takes luck, i guess, to get anything closer.

any suggestions would also be helpful.

That's not a bad place to stay. There are a couple more businesses open in the area now than last year.

it doesn't take luck. i just waited until they were accepting reservations at the one i stay at off of washinton st., just booked a few weekends in april until they announced the dates, then canceled the wrong date bookings. i didn't book until mid september and had no problem getting a room.

i did the same. i cancelled a weekend already. ...also it doesn't help i got banned from one of the hotels (i think it might be washington believe it or not).
