also, those bottles look TITS.
best souvenir ever
I love my canteen...I think I might have to take this route this year!!! Great find FP!!!
Those are so sexy. What an awesome idea.
I can't wait to buy the bottles. I'm totally getting one of each.
motherfuckin pimp-ass stainless steel coachella bottle, and buying one gets you free cold water all weekend!
like...
my water/gatorade budget for 3 days is like $80. this is amazing.
it's one of the only things I could have even thought of doing to improve the fest, and they've done it!
fuck guys, this year we get campers-only music until 4 AM, and a brand new water program!
yeah, i was hoping for the 10-for-10 again this year so i didn't have to pay to be hydrated.....
but i end up spending at least $50 on liquid alone...so it's better to just splurge for the $25 bottle, get a cool souvenir, save the animals of the world and shit...and get unlimited water.
a thought occurs:
if I spend $30 on 3 bottles, there should be no reason why I can't fill them all at once.
3x24oz should last a while. that's like 5 1/2 regular bottles.
and I have no qualms at all spending $30 on some pimp coachella gear
edit:
my plan is to get two plastic ones and one stainless steel.
Sounds cool. Will there still be plastic bottles? I'm not sure how I feel about carrying around a hard bottle all day and night.
did anyone notice the way "coachella" was spelt out on the black text bottle?
"COA-Chella."
HAH!
yeah, for sure they'll be selling water like usual. this is meant to reduce, not replace. people still also need gatorade (get those electrolytes, people!)
I know. I hauled cases of my own around and also tried filling at fountains in 07, but in the end it was just way easier to knuckle down and buy a new bottle each time. also, there's never a shortage of thirsty hippies looking for free empties.
this, on the other hand, is worth the trouble. totally worth it.
in other words, you cant leave the beer garden with the bottles filled. so fill them not in the beer garden.

She added the phrase "meany head" to my profile.I hardly think I'm an attention whore.
okay those are sweet. i like the bring your own bottle idea but i want one of the coachella bottles.![]()
So gonna buy that microphone bottle. NICE!

FINALLY. Nice find, and great idea. I've been wanting to (legally) bring in empty containers for years.
The potential problem with this though is they may make you dump out your filled, sealed water bottles more this year then last year. I guess we were lucky to get those bottles in last year.

i,m buying a staless steel one
i can see it allready...
"Hey, Fleet Foxes start in about 20 minutes, are you coming?"
"Hold on. I'm about 60 people back in line to fill up my 24oz, 25 dollar water bottle. I'll be there later".
Correct me if i seem off here..
yeah, i totally understand not wanting people to take out alcohol, i'd just hate to see people dumping out bottles of water to get beer. i'm curious if they'll be doing bag checks exiting the beer gardens or if they'll just be having you take the lids off if it's in your hand.
it would be fine as long as they have refill stations right outside the beer gardens. would suck if i have to empty it out and trek far just to fill it up again.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
