Stereogum had a link this morning to a coachella 07' presale. the presale password is...... After looking at the web site, i have to ask, is this for real?



every years i get info for the presale from goldenvoice. I gots nothing about this presale.

Who are these people? has anyone ever used them before to buy tickets?

I am pleasantly surprised about the price. That's only a little more than last year's two day pass (after bullshit ticketmaster fees.)

What about folks that have bought presale tix for the past 4 or 5 years?

I used to get an e-mail about now from GV about presale info (I tihnk last year's password was SEVEN) ... but, I didn't join the community thing ... so, am I now shunned?

Not that I think I'll get locked out or anything ... but it's a yearly ritual to get the presale tickets. And if I don't get a discount being offered to others, I'd be pretty pissed.

yeah, i initially thought the presale was applicable to people who bought presale tickets in the past... that's why i thought i received my email because i took part in the presale last year (and the general on-sales two years before that). the local hockey team here has a tendency to pick up on a buyer's history with ticketmaster and send us offers for discounted tickets and such. i figured it was the same deal... then i was informed that community members received it only... good thing i signed up last year (and subsequently did nothing with my profile!).

I'm pretty sure you have to be a festival goer to sign up there. I remember getting an entry code either 2005 or 2006 when I bought tickets. Maybe there's other ways to sign up, but yeah.. it's the Coachella COMMUNITY. I'd think most if not everyone there has gone at least once.

i did sign up for the microcommunity last year (after i got my pre-sales), but i never got an e-mail about the p r e s a le ... (and yes, i was still using the same email). i searched in my spam folders and still nada in there. i had to do some digging online finally, but am a bit peeved that i had to do so ... *sigh* oh well, still a lot cheaper than it would be to get tix separately! too bad no camping p r e s a l e though.
