hey folks serious question here is it appropriate to be pregnant and go to coachella. has anybody ever seen a pregnant person at coachella.

yes, pregnant people go to coachella. it is really about how you are feeling, the situation with your pregnancy and if your doc has a problem with it or not. drink extra water.

yes my wife went several years ago and was pregnant. obviously, crucial you stay hydrated and out of the sun as much as possible. her only real problems were cravings for garlic fries and swollen ankles.

I saw several pregnant moms last year. I see no problem with it. Think of it this way: you're exposing your new baby to TONS of new musical experiences before he/she is even born! Probably grow up to be an awesome kid with an awesome mommy.

Wife and I went out to clubs a bunch of times. Some of the DJ's we went to listen to were: Prydz, Tong and Sander K. My kid now loves music. Everytime he hears a beat, he starts dancing (he's 1 year old now).

So... go... have fun... but... just stay away from large crowds, drink lots of water, eat plenty of fruit and stay in the shade if the sun gets to strong.

During gestation my daughter went to at least 5 shows including Coachella. She loves music, and I can already tell will be a great dancer once she gets a better understanding and control of her body.

Having been pregnant many times myself--I think you have to just be careful of the heat,drink lots of water and don't go to the front area of the stages and you should be okay. Hopefully it won't be excessively(100' plus) hot and if it is maybe go later in the afternoon. And depending on how pregnant you are I hope you are staying in a nice air conditioned place! Sometimes the very pregnant moms at Coachella don't look comfortable and if you are miserable don't go the next day.

My wife went to Lolla at 4 months - it had a negative effect on her - we really didn't do or see all that much compared to the usual. So if it was me - I'd say no go to Coach, because the elements tend to be a bit more brutal. Besides there is plenty of time later on when there are babysitters and wives that feel great for the entire 3 days.
