Definitely lol. I'm just happy it fulfilled (at least my) expectations.
I also really like this needledrop review and I usually disagree with him.

I mean it's obviously album of the year but I wonder how it'll stand the test of time. I said before that I can't really think of a better (major label) debut since...idk College Dropout? But that album has aged terribly in my opinion.
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
Please don't even compare it to College Dropout haha. That album is by far my favorite LP of his when he was stilll in love with soul samples and had that goofy yet innocent sense of humor! Just listen to "Two Words" again. He definitely put his passion and soul into that track. How can you forget about "Never Let Me Down" with Jay-Z...so good!
So far 8 albums are over a 9
Frank Ocean "Channel Orange" (9.5)
Kendrick Lamar "good kid, m.A.A.d city (9.5)
Godspeed You! Black Emperor "Alleluja! Don't Bend! Ascend!" (9.3)
Grizzly Bear "Shields" (9.1)
Beach House "Bloom" (9.1)
Swans "The Seer" (9)
Fiona Apple "The Idler…" (9)
Tame Impala "Lonerism" (9)
The Weeknd's Trilogy and the Avalanches' (if they actually put it out this year) album could also get 9+'s this year. Anything else coming up have the potential?

Big Boi: Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors
Archers of Loaf: What Did You Expect? (documentary film) [DVD]

A$AP Rocky: LongLiveA$APAndy Stott: Luxury Problems
Tyler, the Creator: Wolf
M.I.A.: Matangi
Azealia Banks: Broke With Expensive Taste
I think there will be 3 new songs that should hopefully make the flow of the Trilogy format smoother. (Each mixtape was 9 songs, they are each now 10) I agree though, I'd much rather he come out with a proper separate release for his debut like Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar. They left impressions with Nostalgia/Ultra and Section 8.0 but made sure to put out much stronger debut's that surpassed most people's high expectations, I don't see why The Weeknd isn't doing the same.
I didn't know The Replacement's were doing anything new, I'd be ecstatic to see them at Coachella!! I forgot about Big Boi's album but I will be surprised if it is better than gk,mc.
Do you think Tyler could get a better score with his second album? I'd love to see that but don't have my expectations set too high for Wolf.

It's the part where what's his name yells beeyotch repeatedly that makes me want to turn the whole thing off.
Also, re: Money Trees, I didn't notice it until someone on youtube pointed it out, but apparently he's sampling Beach House's Silver Soul in that song. So, I looked up what else was sampled and a site made a list of what songs were used, pretty interesting:
Kendrick Lamar – good kid, m.A.A.d. city – The Samples Tracklist
01. Prologue
02. Dreamscape Interlude (Prod. by Gianni Lee)
03. Boom Clap Bachelors – “Tiden Flyver” (“Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe”)
04. Suspekt – “Helt Alene” (“Art of Peer Pressure”)
05. Beach House – “Silver Soul” (“Money Trees”)
06. Janet Jackson – “Anytime, Anyplace” (“Poetic Justice”)
07. Kanye West – “We Major” (“M.A.A.D City”)
08. Ohio Players – ”Funky Worm” (“M.A.A.D City”)
09. Grant Green – “Maybe Tomorrow” (“Sing About Me, I’m Dying of Thirst”)

I really like this album. And I haven't liked a hip hop/rap album in a long time.
In my opinion it's not. I like both the Black Album, and Blueprint more than Reasonable Doubt. Blueprint because of the theme throughout the whole album, and the production(Kanye and the soul samples). The Black Album because that is his peak in terms of being a lyricist, and his mastering a level versitily with the flow for each song that very few hiphop/rappers are capable of. Again, this is like debating your favorite Radiohead album. Some people might even say they like Vol.1-3 the best. It's a matter of preference, Jay-Z is just that great.
The Black Album is above and beyond my favorite.

Reasonable Doubt
ROC La Familia(if you want to count this as an album)
Vol.1
American Gangster
Vol.3
Blueprint 2(very uneven, but what is great is GREAT)
Blueprint 3
Vol. 2
Kingdom Come
agreed. it has definitely broken the top 3 for this year since it leaked.
