Not the first nor last time this will be suggested. I don't know how I'd feel about seeing an artist do a broadcast rather than an actual live performance, but hey, whatever.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * The Flaming Lips perform The Soft Bulletin - Bimbo's 365 in SF on February 21st
    * Jeff Mangum - Fox Theater in Oakland on April 10th

Five Years of Coachella Glory: 2007 - 2011 (skipping 2012, maybe I'll be back in '13?)

I didn't want to make a new thread or bump any of the others with specific years in the titles, but, yeah, FSOL for 2012 please, if possible. They cancelled in 2004.... so yeah, time to make up for that.

Isn't Noel Gallagher playing mexico almost 2 weeks before Coachella? Think he might bring FSOL along?

On 6 July 2011 it was announced that Noel Gallagher's second solo album will be in collaboration with The Amorphous Androgynous*, and is set for release in 2012.

    probably not:

Gallagher added that he would not be playing any songs from the album on his October tour, choosing instead to focus on material from his first solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' and on Oasis songs.

He said of playing his second solo album live: "The second album's not going to come out until as I understand it next summer anyway and I stress again that it's far out. I don’t really want to put the kids through it at the moment."
    *based upon tedious fact checking.

I would still be nice to some how get FSOL to go to Coachella for a legitimate live set.
