I was in Barcelona & San Sebastian in July. Going to London for a week in February. Possibly back in Italy again this year too.

"Well, that's just like, you know... your opinion, man"
thanks everyone for your help. Was looking at a Sun Country flight leaving LAX at 9.50, direct flight also. So what are Sun Country like?
Traveling to Joshua tree in about 2 1/2 weeks. Renting a big van with 5 friends and a bunch of beer and other stuff. So very looking forward to this.

4 weeks until I'm in D.C.!! I'm pretty happy that this trip is costing me so little. $237 for the round trip airfare, no need for a hotel or rental car since I'm staying with a friend and just about all the touristy stuff is free. I figure that this trip will cost a whopping total of $500 when it's all said and done - mostly on food and drinks. I do need to take a trip over to Philadelphia while I'm there, but since my friend also has to visit there for similar reasons I'll just need to help out with gas and keep her company on the 3 hour drive.
best of all, it's an excuse to go back to The Continental for food and drinks again, I'll take it!
thanks for your help everyone...

Going to Spain and Morocco 3 days after Coachella. So excited!!! If anyone has any advice on either place I would totally appreciate it!
All over spain, just trying to plan it out this month.
What Coachella Flu?????
How long do you have for the trip?
If there's Coachella to be had, I'm gonna have it
2 weeks in spain and 1 week in Morocco, something like that. Kinda just going to go with how I feel in a place. But if you know of any must see's or do's or even where's a good place to chill that'd be great!
Go everywhere in Spain then. Search this thread for names of popular cities in Spain and you'll get a lot of good info. At a minimum, Sevilla, Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona, and San Sebastian. Once you get a draft route down, come back to ask specifics in particular cities / areas.

Ronda, in Andalucia, is one of my favorite places on the entire planet.
For a bigger city, I like Sevilla a lot. And Madrid, if only for the museums. Go see Guernica and see how El Greco went mad.
Barcelona is a must too of course but you already know that. Gaudi. seafood. topless beaches.
it was incredibly easy for me to go through 5 days in Madrid. i am a nut for art museums though.

Oh thanks guys! Lots of information here! I definitely think I'm going to check out the andalucia side of Spain and will hit up Ronda if I can! Once I get rough draft will come back here for more info! Thanks!
The Coachella flu is something many suffer after a weekend in the desert. The partying mixed with lack of sleep and nasty desert dust can destroy your body, leaving you with flu like aches, lung issues, fever, etc.
There is a thread here somewhere with stories from sufferers. Be sure to hydrate, take emergen-c or something similar, saline for the nasal passages, bring a bandana or dust mask, and get some rest at night to lower your chances. Would suck to have an amazing vacation planned like that only to spend it wishing you were dead.
ohhh mannnnnn, that does not sound good!!! I will definitely be using your tips in that case! Thanks!!
Just got word that I'm going out to Wisconsin next week for work. The lady us flying out to meet me in Chicago for the weekend. Any good places to go for some solid techno? Would love to go somewhere that is different than LA/SF. Thanks.
Only the one overseas trip on the cards for 2013. Deciding between a grueling 16 day trek in Nepal finishing at base camp or a more leisurely trip around Vietnam.
