I feel like ACL kind of gets the shaft by being the last major festival to announce it's line up. In January I probably would've been into it, but now it just looks like they took parts of every other festival, but threw in more shit. there is at least one band on all of the first five lines that I would do anything possible to get the fuck away from.

I love how the Arctic Monkeys are getting consistently low billing at all these NA festivals. Don't worry all you Monkey lovers though... they are still festival headliners in the UK.

overall: good lineup for austin. not many people travel to different festivals so acl and osl having the same headliners doesnt mean a thing for attendance.

and is ACL considered in the top 4? i know coachella, bonnaroo and lollapalooza are the big 3, does ACL belong in that class??

i would think ACL is the best of the next tier of festivals with osl, mile high, APW, and rothbury.... but then ACL has been around so maybe im not showing enough respect...
