First Time on Coachella...

hey my name is chris, im from costa rica, central america and i will fly from my country to california. i´m so excited, i can wait to watch several of my favourites bands perform live. what can i expect about it?? it´s true that there are no single passes available for friday?? because i´m going saturday to check out the killers, but i would like to go friday too... i will like to meet other people going on saturday too...

hey, thanks for the advice....well the reason why i probably dont take the 3 pass day, its because i will stay on a friends house in LA, and im aware that indio is pretty far away, about camping that should be a pretty cool experience, but since im going alone....thats the issue....hehehehe

Lots and I mean LOTS of people camp alone. You will meet plenty of people there who will entertain you.

I am serious. I think everyone here will tell you to do that. Forget about your friends house. If you are going to this, you need to get a 3 day pass.

Why is it cool on this board to make fun of The Killers, even if you don't like them seriously get over it and see someone else. People don't like one headliner and that is the main thing talked about, how about recommending bands you do like instead of dwelling over one thing you disagree with?

hey guys thanks for the recommendations....i accept all kind of comments, but egull dont take it to serious, i love the killers, and they are one of my favourite bands, i will totally love the show, because i'm a huge fan. guys thanks for all the recommendations about the tickets, i'm still thinking what im gonna do. im so indie>>> the chemical brothers are going to perform??? i thought it was only a dj set, or my understanding is that somebody else would play their music, am i wrong???? because i would like to check them....

If I had read less then 1000 complaints about The Killers I wouldn't have said anything. I don't even like The Killers, I just hate when people dwell on the negative aspects of a great show instead of focusing on the great things at Coachella this year.

One of the magical things about Coachella is the people you meet there.
Just show up.
There's some really good people around here and this board is a perfect place to get a word out.
There's lots of people looking to buy, sell or trade tickets.
Show up and somewhere, somehow, someone will help you out.

yeah its a dj set, meaning the chemical brothers are the djs. this is different from crystal method (live) for example, who will actually be playing instruments.
