It's hard to write about something you love. If music's shitty, you can just call it shitty whereas music done right isn't something you can really adequately describe.
Also, Goddamn I'll listen to all the nonsensical metaphors Flowers and Friends have to offer sooner than ever hear another Kings of Leon song. I am so fucking aggressively sick of that band, I do not see the appeal at all.

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND
And I will add
THE FRAY
oh man if they ever get DMB or Phish i think i will throw up the second i see the lineup. this isnt fucking bonnaroo
no chilli peppers plz unless they promise to only play non hits
janes might play if their tour with nin goes well this year, but then again maybe people will be kinda sick of them by that point. they wouldnt cause any scheduling conflicts for me. porno for pyros would be awesome tho
smashing pumpkins? everyone seemed to think they were ready for headlining before they released that album that pretty much sucked (and before everyone realized wait, this is just zwan 2.0)
im surprised pearl jam hasnt been picked as well, another "meh" in my book
come to think of it, id say i've only been really excited for about 25% of the headliners of all coachellas i've been to. at the same time never been to a bad coachella.
huh
carry on then

i'd like to submit Death Cab for Cutie for consideration. LP7 will probably surface in 2010, sure to be chock-full of more hits soccer mums will get down to.
Neil Young. I don't care how good you think he is, shitty headliner.

Kanye West is definitely one to prepare for I'd say. He's definitely got the ego and audacity to complain about being a subheadliner if he was ever booked.
You may not like Neil Young and Im OK with that. But you can't call him a shitty headliner. Especially when we have had Jack Johnson and The Killers headline, and we face other possible headliners such as Kings of Leon.
I don't hate Neil. I think he would be a fine subheadliner. But he will not sell tickets as a headliner, so thus, I say he would be a headliner in the vein of the Killers and JJ. AKA: Not a good one.
