Well I just found out about these guys because of Coachella but Cloud Cult. I know I have dragged this through the mud over and over but I am amazed at their new album.

I'll be honest with you, the new Metallica blew me away (please disregard the previous 10 years)
I'm sure the new Beastie Boys will be pretty damn good too
And I still say that Local H is one of the best "Rock" bands out there putting out solid albums and fierce live shows

Of course! Only 3 albums and a super-long hiatus, but they should still be on the list.

At least they've said another one is in the works. Hopefully it won't be the same kind of wait as LP5.

He also said that any music he made would sound like Burzum because that's all he can make. He also said that he didn't feel sorry for killing Euronymous because he was a coward. He says lots of things. Most of them are weird and creepy. But his music is pretty intense.

The Walkmen. their sound is timeless in my eyes. a criminally low profile band whose music is unlike anything their contemporaries are producing.

He has also claimed the guitar as a "****** instrument" and will not use it anymore since he was only allowed a keyboard in prison

British Sea Power. I think it might take a while, but some day people are going to look back and wonder why they ignored an album like Do You Like Rock Music?

BSP's first album (Decline of...) was better than their 2nd (Open Season), which in turn was better than their latest/3rd album (Do You...). here's hoping their 4th album doesn't continue the downward trend.
