I didn't realize Fitch was out for as long as he was. makes me doubt my pick, but I still think he's gonna take it.

I have a buddy who posts links to every PPV event of UFC and Boxing so I will start tossing them up in here like an hour prior to fights. I have used that site before so maybe it's good each time. They're usually Euro sites but they are pretty clear and up to time for a stream
So no input about the fights? Lesnar's retirement, Fitch taking a nap, Diaz's boxing and Cerrone's punching bag act.
I wish Lesnar the best in health. Never saw him as a serious contender, so i won't miss him as a fighter.
I was not expecting Fitch to be taken out, and most definitely not the way it happened.
Diaz was most impressive with his boxing, nothing taken away there, but I can't believe Cerrone just stood there the entire first round. It was insane to watch.
I was actually pretty happy about Fitch getting dropped. I don't like that guy. Boring as fuck.
Cerrone was doing good with the leg kicks. At least he didn't get finished. I'm a huge Diaz Bros fan so I was fine with that win.
Lesnar must have still been jacked up from his disease. He only tried for one takedown then got FUCKED.

Not that i cared for Fitch, I just wasn't expecting him to go nighty night. That was pretty nuts to watch.
I use to like Nick, but he seems to be eating what his brother eats as of late. A bunch of bullshit. Like Cerrone had said in an interview..'We're professionals..". If you wanna thug it up, stay on the streets. I could just do without the attitude. Coming from the north east where boxing is pretty damn popular, I didn't know too many boxers that "grew up on the streets". If you acted that way, you were pretty much an asshole. That aside, I do enjoy watching them fight, I just don't care too much if they win or lose.
I was thinking the same thing about Lesnar. I don't know that he could be 100% after going through that twice. Something that people die from, or live the rest of their lives in pain. And it's not even like Overeem looked impressive. At least I didn't think so.
I didn't get to watch the card but judging by the fact that the Diaz fight went the distance I'm assuming it's the same case I've seen from Diaz in the past, landing a ton of punches with a complete lack of power behind any of them. In previous fights of his I've watched I've seen him pick people apart in an impressive fashion, but can't help but think if someone else was landing that many punches the fight would not go the distance.
I think the Diaz brothers' behavior prior to matches seems a bit immature as well but I also find how they do it quite amusing. Also I don't think I've seen a Diaz Bros match where they didn't show respect to guy they fought right after the match (save for Nick/Riggs & Nate/Peligrino). It's all fight hype. Plus that's what it takes for those guys to get their head in the game.
As a martial artist I kind of wish the whole "disrespect" aspect of MMA went away but it's what helps sell the fights and in the case of Chael Sonnen or Nick Diaz it's actually entertaining (to me anyway).

Should be a decent card. Not looking forward to any one fight, but it should be a good night overall. The main event should be a very exciting match and the co-main has potential for some fireworks. Or, maybe just one explosion considering they both can easily put someone to sleep.
Jose Aldo def. Chad Mendes via knockout at 4:59 of round one
Edson Barboza def. Terry Etim via knockout at 2:02 of round three
Rousimar Palhares def. Mike Massenzio via submission (heel hook) at 1:02 of round one

Those were some really finishes. I didn't think the Aldo/Mendes fight was gonna be over that quick. And as for Etim, WOW! Sure he's ok, but that looked scary.

Apparently Guillard is getting his head on straight, we'll see what it's doing for him this weekend.
Him and Miller were on streaks before they both lost. These guys are top contenders in the division still. Curious why Guillard left Jackson's for the Blackzilians camp though. He was doing great with Jackson.

He's black. They're black. Most of them anyway.
But yeah, not sure why he left either, kinda crazy.
