According to the Flying Lotus Myspace, he is confirmed for Saturday now.
He was the only artist I was disappointed about not being included (besides the obvious Bowie, Boards of Canada, etc.) so I am super excited.

This is disgustingly good news.

He is right.
has anyone seen their live show?
and there is another post like this one.
i fucking love this guys production but i would like to see someone rap over it.
hey it says he is playing in LA on march 7th and I'm gonna be in town and I want to see him but I can't figure out where the club is. It says pure filth but I'm not from LA and I can't seem to find their location online. If any one can help me out with this i'd be much obliged.
Pure Filth is the name of the promotion group throwing it. I believe they keep the location secret until the last minute (probably to get around city licenses). Anyways, check their myspace page to get the info if you still want to check it out:

Flying Lotus rules, he reminds me a lot of Madlib if Madlib had spent his childhood watching Star Trek and Tron all day every day
Yea Pure Filth throw underground parties in warehouses. I saw Flying Lotus play right before NYE and his set was great but be prepared to stay late. I think he went on at like 2am or something. Definitely check out the Pure Filth parties if you like dubstep/broken beat type stuff.

find the video for Parisian Goldfish. it's the best song on the album (I think), a really good video, and very NWS.
Seen this dude more times than i can count.
He plays the low end theory at the Airliner all the time- a lot of echo/plex
shows too. Brainfeeder promo show was dope as hell.
Last time he played a lot of dancy shit.
Sounded like I was dancing in space on cough syrup.
So new album's probably gonna be all dance-like.
Dance.
Yes.
yeS!

So, unless there is some kind of weird double standard here, this thread should be locked, or at least moved to rumors, and the person who started it should be accused of spamming the board.
Dani? I'm waiting.
Directed by the comedic genius of Eric Wareheim. Lol, my friend agrees Parisian is best song on L.A. -- but I have to say GNG BNG. But of course, they're right next to each other on the album, so it's really just that middle section with Riot too that makes that album sooooooooooo goood.
But yeah this is good news! FlyLo will be near the top of my must-see list now. My 3rd favorite album of 2008.
free the robots would be a sick performance
I thought it was confirmed last month that Fly Lo was playing the Do-Lab tent in between the Campgrounds and the Polo Grounds at like 1 am.
Does this mean he's getting a legit Coachella set too?
I asked him and he said he still wasn't sure what the deal was...really hope he has a legit spot...
^ if he isn't I'm going to throw a tantrum like a 5 year old who couldn't get candy at the supermarket
I know there are a ton of threads about this, but thought I would share cuz there is a little more info here (actually I just included the new info only)
Saturday starting late afternoon and going until they tell us to stop...
ALL ARTISTS WILL PERFORM BEFORE THE COACHELLA GROUNDS CLOSE (so don't worry if you already have tickets and don't want to camp or don't have camping permits, you'll still get to see everyone perform...)
WHEN THE DOME RE-OPENS AT 1am
PURE FILTH meets LOW END THEORY BRAINFEEDER & BOMB SQUAD AT SOUNDCLASH IN THE DESERT...
Please note in order to stay and rock with us until the a.m you will need a camping permit as the COACHELLA ground will be cleared out at 12-12.30...then the music will come back on in the DOME at 1am. The camping pass will get you back in the grounds and we'll we going til they tell us to stop!
oh man.
I can't believe this is real.
I am so psyched I can't even describe it. I'm actually feeling just as/maybe more excited for this one saturday night AM bit of insanity than I am for an other act
don't stay up to late...we need you fresh and alert for church at 9am
