Wish List: Jimmy Eat World performing "Clarity"

Coming from a huge JEW fan who includes "Clarity" in his top ten favorite albums - It'd simply be impossible. I love JEW but they're not headlining material, and Clarity is like 65 min long.

I just went to one of the Clarity shows. It was nice to see them play the album in full, but the venue I went to sucked and the crowd was filled with annoying pot smoking, pushpit-starting, fight-starting college kids whose musical growth has been stunted so that put a damper on things.

It was my 3rd time seeng J.E.W. in the past 10 years, and you know what? It kind of felt like every other J.E.W. show I had been to before. Aside from a few songs off Clarity, they usually play most of Clairty regularly. Their sets barely change, and you can always expect them to play 3 - 4 songs off each Clarity, Bleed American, Futures and whatever new album they're supporting. Its like they play the same songs from the older albums, then when they come out with a new one, they just add 4 more to the mix. I like them, but they don't seem to give me anything new whenever I have seen them.

I would pay a hundred dollars on top of my ticket price to see Jimmy Eat World at Coachella, but only if the rest of you assholes would stay away.

Also, Calgary is like the Canadian equivalent of Texas. You can have your country music, cowboy hats, and rednecks, and I'll keep Jimmy Eat World.

Don't get me wrong, I love Calgary - my mother was born there, and I've been many times. I still like the Flames. It's just not a place I would live voluntarily.

jimmy eat world is incredibly boring live...i mean like, put you to sleep boring. they play well live, and usually play their jams, but they have ZERO stage presense. i'd rather listen to them on my ipod than see them live. they are not a coachella band
