Weak Lineup

Just want to say that I have been so stoked every year for Coachella and this year is a real bummer. I have been 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 and its always "wowed" me. But come on, The Killers, really? The Cure, really? Half the bands have been to LA in the last 6 months and I have already seen them. The Cure couldnt even sell out the Santa Barbara Bowl that holds only 4600, and they expect them to draw a big crowd for Coachella? If you have seen in the past the single day tickets sell out fast, withen the first week, usually. This year, they have plenty to sell, Humm? Recession, Maybe. But, I am not totally putting it out, Coachella is such a great event and I have always had a blast. Its just that I have seen over half the acts. Every year I always see something I have never heard or seen before and really liked it and I usually see about 6 to 8 acts a day, True True. But, this is the 10 year aniversary and this is what we get. Not every act is bad its just not as heavy as the years in the past. Just wondering if any other Coachella vets feel the same. Supper Bummed.

If you can't find at least 5 bands per day that you want to see, then you have not looked hard enough.

I will completely admit that this is the weakest lineup since I've been attending (2006), but it's still easily worth my money. I'd gladly pay twice what it currently costs for this "shitty" lineup.

Someone on the news last night, here in Vegas, was complaining because the Paul McCartney tickets at The Joint are starting at $190 and go up to $750 or something like that. As if that person would be able to score tickets anyways...

I didn't buy my tickets right away and I was fine. I honestly wouldn't worry about it selling out. 07 was different.

Sure I would have liked to have been at last years festival but this year has plenty of great musick to enjoy as well.
