    Default Voodoo 09'

by now, voodoo music experience has come to power and show that it's a worldly known music festival. This year, it's taking place Oct 30-Nov 1, halloween weekend 2009 in New Orleans. The new website is up. http://www.TheVoodooExperience.com
I went several years ago in 2003, and it was an amazing time, but I wasn't sure if I would be willing to fly down to New Orleans again. This year though, I'm tempted, especially with last year's headliners being NIN, Stone Temple Pilots, Lil Wayne and R.E.M. We'll see about this year-I'm sure they'll have some good ones. Line up will be announced in the next few weeks, according to COS.

I remember that show. They had to redirect the air traffic that goes over the stadium due to the pyro KISS uses.

It's good old fashioned rock'n'roll and the idea of seeing them on HALLOWEEN in NEW ORLEANS (a city i've never been to) is just so fucking appealing

KISS were going to play a show in Whistler a couple years ago. I think tickets were like 40 bucks. The show was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. It wasn't that big of a place either...

$40 is so doable. I would go to even $60ish

I saw KISS opening for Aerosmith at the Forum in '03. Paid about $300 for a pair of decent loge seats (from Ticketmaster, not a scalper!). The concert was basically sold out.

My daughter really enjoyed KISS, but fell asleep during Aerosmith. A drunk person fell down several stairs and over several rows of people and landed on me. Gotta love the Forum. (NOT!)
