Flaming Lips playing McDowell Mountain Music Fest

YAY!!! I was bummed they weren't on the Coachella list, but am now happy cause they are playing in my backyard (ok, not literally, but you get the gist . . .) Usually the McDowell Mountain Music Festival is a bunch of hippie stuff (no offense, just not a jam band sorta chick) but I am all about checking out the Lips!!!

I know it's probably just wishful thinking, but that show is only a week after Coachella - so we know the Lips are gonna be in the neighborhood anyways. Perhaps the UFO will make a stop in Indio on its way to Arizona.....
