I will feed you glow lollipops all night PLURasaurus and stroke your candee plates.
I want to just go for Underworld, might have to make it happen...
Watch Trainspotting, there are a few great scenes with Underworld in them especially my favorite scene...the detox scene.
edit: wow it just hit me, about a month after hard summer we will get 2010 coachella dates. Yippeeee!
Kolby- Underworld is amazing in all aspects of the word. Look up those songs I listed, I'm sure you will enjoy most of them. Although it is not heart pounding EDM they bring a flavor and style like no other. If I were you I would watch the Everything Everything DVD...I have it, movie night???
While Underworld is THE shit, I don't think they have been able to recapture the magic that Darren Emerson brought to the group since his departure. Still one of the best around imo.
UNDERWORLD is why I'll be going to this & not EDC this year. Let's hope they get 2 hrs to play. Hope the rest of the line up fills out well too.
I hope they play Born Slippy.
Not the NUXX version, the original, which should flow seemlessly into the NUXX version.
HB was 2 1/2 fyi.
UNDERWORLD had better f*ucking tour around this show, it has been 6 years since I saw them live at the SF Fillmore and I am going through withdrawals...

Gimme a min, Ill edit it in.
Underworld invented electronic music that mattered, that's all you need to know, Brobama. Get thee raving ass to witness the forefathers before they're completely over the hill.
I can't remember whether they played the Nuxx version of Born Slippy at APW or not. I think probably they did. I agree that it's a shame when they do though. I want that incredibly poignant slow build, dammit. There will be time for them to suddenly drop in the drum n bass elements later, like they originally wrote. The Nuxx version feels like it ruins that awesome drop when the drum finally kick in and you realize you've now gone from trance to house/techno and into quasi-dnb all in one song.
This is why Underworld is the fucking shit.
They were great, with the exception of the acceptably brief 8 minute or so interlude of some Obliviion With Bells tracks in the middle that was just as boring as it is on the album, but it was pretty to listen to. Not as good as they were back in 2002 when I saw them at Field Day Fest, and technically they've never really been the same since what's his face quit.
Weirdest part about APW was that the singer had hair. I'd never seen him with hair before. It kinda bugged me for some reason--he looked a lot cooler when he had a shaved head and was dancing his fucking ass off in the rain in Giants Stadium.
Full lineup is out on the 18th.... (Gary Richard's Facebook)
1. Underworld (live)
12. Rye Rye
14. Destructo (Gary Richards....he owns HARD)
15. (Usually reserved for the VJ - Space Cowboy?)
Add the Beetroots and Aoki in there somewhere
I also saw SebastiAn last week at Cinespace for Busy-P's birthday and although he only played 4 songs he was pretty damn good. That same night a very special guest took the controls for a bit
UNDERWORLD - 2014 - THE PRODIGY
Watched Everything Everything DVD last night while sippin' some good beer and I really was thrown into the Underworld spirit. It is an Underworld binge from here on out. I expect all of you guys going to rock the baggy cargos, big headphones, and shake your ass like Karl. Amazzzzing.
