Watch Trainspotting, there are a few great scenes with Underworld in them especially my favorite scene...the detox scene.

Kolby- Underworld is amazing in all aspects of the word. Look up those songs I listed, I'm sure you will enjoy most of them. Although it is not heart pounding EDM they bring a flavor and style like no other. If I were you I would watch the Everything Everything DVD...I have it, movie night???

While Underworld is THE shit, I don't think they have been able to recapture the magic that Darren Emerson brought to the group since his departure. Still one of the best around imo.

Underworld invented electronic music that mattered, that's all you need to know, Brobama. Get thee raving ass to witness the forefathers before they're completely over the hill.

I can't remember whether they played the Nuxx version of Born Slippy at APW or not. I think probably they did. I agree that it's a shame when they do though. I want that incredibly poignant slow build, dammit. There will be time for them to suddenly drop in the drum n bass elements later, like they originally wrote. The Nuxx version feels like it ruins that awesome drop when the drum finally kick in and you realize you've now gone from trance to house/techno and into quasi-dnb all in one song.

This is why Underworld is the fucking shit.

They were great, with the exception of the acceptably brief 8 minute or so interlude of some Obliviion With Bells tracks in the middle that was just as boring as it is on the album, but it was pretty to listen to. Not as good as they were back in 2002 when I saw them at Field Day Fest, and technically they've never really been the same since what's his face quit.

Weirdest part about APW was that the singer had hair. I'd never seen him with hair before. It kinda bugged me for some reason--he looked a lot cooler when he had a shaved head and was dancing his fucking ass off in the rain in Giants Stadium.
