Soulwax would be great, but I'd rather see them at a regular venue. I kind of hope HARD doesn't get anyone good.

^ I don't get it, just cause a random guy says they're going to be there, it means they are? I hope he is right but I also hope that the lineup is fucking amazing at 70 a ticket

For $70 a ticket and that awful venue, it better have Daft Punk.

LMAO! ^^^^ I doubt that will happen, but then again, you never know. I know for a FACT that it was a terrible venue for basketball, apparently it's the same deal for concerts as well I am guessing from the majority of negative feedback?

The forum was fine for The Foo Fighters. $61 through Groove tickets.

Not so. Downtown is much better that it has ever been. I am considering moving there. And I would never consider moving to Inglewood.

That said, the problem is not the area, but the venue. The Forum is a stone masoleum with shiatty facilities and parking that just sucks on ice. Factor in that the acoustics are terrible and the access to seats a joke. It needs to be torn down at best.

It is a church now and they don't care and don't work with unions (that's why Neil Young canceled)...

The Forum was built with sporting events in mind, hence the bad acoustics.

It sucks from the seats in every way, but with the majority of concerts there having a GA floor it's by far the best venue in the L.A. area to get as close as you want to a big-name band.
8/21 - The Zombies - Santa Monica Pier
    8/22 - Slint - El Rey (?)
    8/23-24 - FYF Fest - Exposition Park
    8/28 - Ty Segall - Echo
    8/31 - Sleep - Troubadour (?)

I mean the little annoying rave kids. I really don't want a bunch of kids asking me what my rave name is like they did at Haunted Mansion.

I know I missed out, I was barely getting into them around that time.

I'm so out of the loop. I had no idea what they were talking about until a few days later. I told them my real name.

Rave name? Give me a break. Halloween was awesome there, some great names playing some great sets. Hard13 was already a lot worse (all the kandi ravers (80% of the crowd) were already worn out by the time Boys Noize came on, who played the best set of the night but most of the crowd was out of energy by that time. D.I.M. played an awesome set which people responded to appropriately, which was nice to see. Whatever the line-up, I won't be able to catch it, but I won't care too much though, by that time I'll be back in Europe hitting up all the big festivals there.

be nicer to the kid calmer, he's just defending HARD, P.S. HARD13 was the first hard event that was invaded by PLUR kids and kandi-ravers. It was a sad sight to be seen...
