Lake Cahuilla is much cheaper, I think it's about $55, for the whole weekend for up to 6 people and 2 cars. It's all ages and there is a pool. I think it's closed than Shadow Hills as well.

I called Lake Cahuilla today and they still have overflow camping spots. Even though they say it sells out, I've never seen it full. I think they expanded the overflow area to the far side of the lake a couple years ago.

in 04 it was unlimited. then the person who made it unlimited got fired and it sold out the years following that.

Yeah, I called in 2005 and they said it was unlimited, and they told me there was no need to make reservations. Then I showed up and they had changed their policy so I was forced to drive all the way to the Salton Sea!

Wait. It says on the website that all camping attendees must be eighteen or older! However, on the Coachella website it says "all ages welcome".

Raptor is correct. Our rules have not changed.
You must be 18 years or older to camp at our park. The only exception is if they are with their parents. We have had parents in the past stay at our park and their kids to go to the concert. We welcome kids as long as long as they are supervised by their parents.

Thanks Raptor for bringing this to our attention.

One thing that we have changed is we are allowing you stay 4 nights for the price of 3! Come early and get a good spot.
