I like DIIV more than the Beach Fossils.
Me too
Beach Fossils are really good though
Hah! When did they get a new album? Did I totally miss that? I loved their first one.
DIIV vs. Beach Fossils just depends on my mood. Dig them both. Think I'd rather see Beach Fossils on a sunny Coachella day though, happier and mellower.
I thought I was a decent fan of Beach Fossils and I had no clue they had another album coming out. Looks like it isn't out until Feb 19th though so not to worry. Based on those tour dates, I would like to believe they will at Coachella this year, that is, if the lineup ever comes out.
i love love love beach fossils, and theyre 10 times better than diiv
however i hope both are playing this year
and pretty much anyone else from the captured tracks stable
craft spells, blouse etc

Beach Fossils isn't playing this year. Their new guitarist, Tommy Davidson, mentioned it to me last Saturday. However, Tommy was also in a band called Hoop Dreams which shared a member with Wild Nothing and he mentioned that Wild Nothing was supposed to be playing. And of course DIIV has been confirmed for a while now.
I prefer Wild Nothing and DIIV's live shows to Beach Fossils' show. DIIV is insane on the stage.
well that sucks. DIIV are mediocre at best, but i'll take Wild Nothing.
