Prince performed a string of covers at his post-Oscars bash last night (February 22) in Los Angeles, and even allowed members of the public access to the intimate bash.
Fans lined up outside the venue for hours after hearing that they would be allowed access to the event at the Avalon club in Hollywood for $100 per ticket.
Prince took to the stage around 1.45am, and performed a two-hour set including covers of The Beatles' 'Come Together', The Rolling Stones' 'Honky Tonk Women' and Jimmy Eat World's 'The Middle', as well as renditions of 'Wild Thing' and 'Play That Funky Music', reports rollingstone.com.
Alicia Keys, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Tyler Perry were among the celebrities watching the show.
The show was also to celebrate the launch of the star's website LOTUSFLOW3R.com .
Hilarious. Anyone know if this is on youtube or anything? I'd love to hear it.
