Maybe that means we won't get a stadium show. That would be nice.

I know glasvegas are europe only - have no idea about bep

all of this is subject to change of course.

if it is like the last stadium tour - we will get 2 openers. I saw Underworld and Fun Loving Criminals, last time out.

PB&J for Depeche Mode and Kaiser Chiefs for U2...we're getting some great opening bands for the big shows this year.

Looks like Kaiser Chiefs will be only Europe, and they will be in the U.S. during the summer.

You got problems if you think PB&J is a worthy opener for DM.

I think during Popmart you really wouldve had face melting.

Rage Against The Machine was the opener when U2 came to L.A. in 1998 at the coliseum.

my uncle was going to take me to this show, things came up. That would have been my first concert. Also based on past DM openers PB&J are worthy openers, actually more worthy then most bands listed.

They couldve gotten something better, they never really excel at that part unlike other artists.

If U2 didn't have Kaiser Chiefs they would be a good opener for DM.
I think AIR would be the best opener DM could get...and i think that would make sense.
Fever Ray for DM would be cool too

I think something in their vein works best. So Placebo, Goldfrapp, Ladytron Im good with. You would get a kick out of comments people gave after seeing She Wants Revenge, thats why those guys got a good following after Coachella and stuff, cause those stuck in the 80's DM fans ate it up.

I saw SWR at the glasshouse, they are defiantly a small venue band. I can't imagine them playing huge arenas. The Raveonettes at the Pond was kinda sad....some bands just cant handle big arenas.

Black Eyed Peas are opening for the Vancouver show, and Snow Patrol are opening for the Toronto date....... i wish it was the other way around.

    yea really

what the hell... opening for u2?

BEP used to be great. I listened to their first two albums the other day, straight up great albums. once they got pop and added Feraligicious it went to shit. but now they are all multimillionaires who are opening for U2 so im sure they are happy
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.

Yes - I remember seeing that leg three times and leaving with 2 Pixies shirts. it was great - even though they were far from good Pixies shows. I loved the Pixies, but U2 wiped the stage with them every night with all those tv screens and hanging trabbies.

    Other U2 openers I've seen:

    Oasis
    The Pretenders
    UB40
    Lou Reed
    Primus
    The Sugarcubes
    Garbage
    Snow Patrol
    Kings of Leon
    PJ Harvey
    Public Enemy
    Fun Lovin Criminals
    Disposable Heroes
    Underworld
    Kraftwerk
    Los Lobos
    Little Steven
    Bo Deans
    Big Audio Dynamite

some others that have opened for U2 but that I haven't seen:

    RATM
    The Corrs
    Keane
    BB King
    Cowboy Junkies
    Greenday
    The Alarm
    Muse
    Ash
    Pogues
    Stereo MC's
    lone Justice
    Hothouse Flowers
    Cactus World News
    INXS
    Franz Ferdinand
    The Waterboys
    World Party
    Asian Dub Foundation
    Skunk Anansie
    Audioweb
    Long Pigs
    Placebo
    No Doubt
    Velvet Underground
    Smashmouth
    Kelis
    Killers

I'm sure it has something to do with Will I Am's involvement with the One campaign.
