Yea. It's totally worth it. Coachella is a great time! I thought about flying back from Japan to go to Coachella this year.
It depends how you view it. UK and Euro festivals are totally different and more liberal.
What you will see is a US/SoCal festival-it is very different. One the heat and how people dress and look. In many ways it feels like another world.
If you have ever been to the rampage of T-in-the-Park then you will be surprised how relatively sober Coachella is! (remember you can't drink alcohol till 21 and you can't wander around with alcohol) But there is little chance of rain at coachella!
Obviously, you can see the line-up reflects US tastes.
Is it worth it? Well, only you will know that.
well i have been at "T in the park" a couple of times and I have drank in the rain and rolled in the rain so i thought myself a bit of a veteran of festivals. but I knew i shouldn't be complacent. the weather will fry me the laws I'm not too familiar with, and the social aspect ...........? all i want to do is have a party. i'm sure i will
Well worth it, so what if you've only know a small % of the artists, just be excited to be exposed to a ton of new music that you actually end up liking. See you there.
