Recoil's album, entitled 'Selected', has been set for worldwide release on 19th April 2010. The album contains a selection of classic Recoil tracks chosen by Alan Wilder who says: "The collection is made up of my personal favourites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience."
'Selected' features an eclectic mixture of vocalists including Diamanda Galás, Joe Richardson, Douglas McCarthy, Samantha Coerbell, Siobhan Lynch, Toni Halliday, Nicole Blackman , Maggie Estep and Carla Trevaskis.

Depeche Mode plan new album and tour - recordings to start in March?
http://www.side-line.com/news_commen...=47129_0_2_0_C
Depeche Mode have arranged to meet in January 2012 to discuss the plans for a new studio album. We hope there will be talks on the musical direction to follow as well, because let's be honest, the 2009 released "Sounds of the Universe", was basically the worst Depeche Mode album ever released. Even "Speak & Spell" is a monument put next to "Sounds of the Universe". Will it include a better producer and better songwriting from Martin Lee Gore? Let's hope so. Perhaps the VCMG project and the time spent with Vince Clarke will remind Gore what a good pop song is all about. But let us stay positive shall we?
As it seems Gore will already present a bunch of songs during that meeting because the recordings will already start in March of 2012. Source of all this? Andy Fletcher during a short video interview.
In further news, the band has already started planning their next tour since it's now already sure that Depeche Mode will play South America including a halt in Rio de Janeiro. Source of this tour news? Yep, Andy Fletcher.
Jen must begin the new one....
