    Question Let's talk music discovery

To be completely open, this thread is kind of more work-related for me than anything else. Full disclosure: I run a music iPhone/Android music discovery app called Band of the Day. We've been going strong for over two years now, but I'm eager to pick the brains of likeminded music buffs because I'm always looking for ways to make what we do even better. Sorry if this comes off as spammy, but I do consider myself part of the Coachella community even if I don't post that often, and I really admire the dedication to music that we all share!

Now that that's out of the way, just curious about your answers to the following:

*What are your main sources of music discovery?
*What do you find most difficult about trying to stay on top of new music?
*Are there certain types of genres/bands that you wish you could find more of, but aren't being covered in mainstream music press?
*Do you ever actively try to find bands outside of your comfort zone, or do you pretty much just stick to a few genres?
*What are your favorite genres of music?
*Which music apps/sites do you think hit it out of the ballpark, in terms of helping you find good music content?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
