    Dear Coachella Faithful,
Spend a week in Hawaii playing music and lounging poolside with members of The Pixies, Sex Pistols, Devo, David Bowie's band, The MC5, The Cars, and many other legendary musicians. It's called The Rock & Roll Experience and it's scheduled August 5-9, 2009 in Honolulu. It's pricey, but packages include five star hotel accommodations, gourmet meals, and pretty much everything else. Get yourself to the island and we'll take care of the rest.

i look forward to hearing your thoughts.

FYI - there's a $1000 early bird discount that expires Sunday. And you can find flights from LA for under $300.

I would have purchased a ticket if your logo were properly anti-aliased.

Steve Ferrone from Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers has been added to the Hawaii roster. I'm excited!

"Steve Ferrone is one of the worlds most prolific and accomplished drummers. He began his storied career as a member of the Average White Band in 1974, and is currently a member of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (having joined the group in 1994). In the interem, Ferrone has played with the biggest names in rock and pop, including 8 years touring and recording with Eric Clapton, and work with Steve Winwood, Paul Simon, Peter Frampton, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Johnny Cash, George Harrison, Joe Walsh, The Temptations, Celine Dion, Roxy Music, Brian May, Chris Isaak, Paul Westerberg, Sofie B. Hawkins, Melissa Etheridge, Stevie Nicks, Keb’ Mo’, The Bee Gee’s, Frank Black, Bette Midler, Whitney Houston, and literally DOZENS more."
