Pretty sure they played a few years ago, wouldn't it great if they were at Coachella this year?

I mean, their new album "Veckatimest" is out in May, and among certain crowds is the only album that makes the hype for the newest Animal Collective look like nothing.

they played sunday 2007 .. about 3-4pm in the gobi if i remember right.

i thought it kinda sucked. walked out halfway through.
maybe it was cause it was killer hot with all the sun pouring into the back of the tent so there was no decent place to deal with the heat. but i've seen other bands at coachella at the same time in the same situation without any issues cause the music transported me out of the misery ... so somehow grizzly bear just didn't do it.

I'm a little disappointed Bonnaroo got them and not Coachella. I haven't listened to all their old work but the new album seems to be great.
