anyway, yeah hot fuss is actually a decent record. i just find it hard to have any respect for the killers. i can't put my finger on what it is. maybe they're just cheesy. and reading what the weirdly naive/megalomaniacal brandon flowers has to say about their music just makes things worse. they even called him out on the brilliant human/dancer concept:

You know, I like the Killers and I'm excited to see them again, but I can't believe that this is the song you would choose to prove what an amazing band they are. The Killers are their singles, no matter how hard they try to convince you that they are a 'big picture album band', they aren't, they are a singles band through and through. If people don't like the singles, they won't like the band, so I suggest against posts like this. Oh well.
