Pretty disappointed that they aren't playing Sasquatch or Outside Lands which are the two major (semi-major) festivals I'll be attending this year. If they come anywhere near me on their tour I'll definitely go see them.

Just finished my first listen. I love this album and I love the direction they went in this time around. It all just flows so well together. Only song that sort of felt out of place to me was My God Is The Sun, but other than that this album is pretty close to flawless IMO. I can't wait to see how this stuff sounds live.

I think my excitement that we have a new Queens album may have overshadowed the actual album...after one listen it's good, but musically didn't seem to be anything that spectacular. Every one of their albums up until now has had a calling card so to speak, and this one doesn't feel like it has one. Obviously a very premature take on it, though.

This album is AMAZING! It really may have catapulted itself to my favorite of this fantastic year to this point. It flows, just as mentioned in a couple of the posts above. The guest contributions never do anything to distract from the classic QOTSA sound and it is just strong track after strong track. Too many favorite tracks to even list out of just 10. The ONLY drawback is its not even close to being long enough 48 minute length. But when it is all killer and no filler, I'll take that. Great job, boys! Can't wait to hear these tracks in concert.
