La Quinta Legacy Villas: What's up?

Has anyone ever stayed at the La Quinta Legacy Villas? It's sort of part of the whole Hilton/Waldorf resort there but it's their option for a 1-bedroom villa/suite thing. We have a reservation there, and I've heard great things... and also read horror stories on Trip Advisor that said some lady saw cockroaches crawling on the walls!! We're shelling out for this big vacation so we only want to stay there if it's really worth it!

that place is amazing...

i did see a bug, but you cannot have a hotel of that size, in the middle of a desert, with all the landscaping, water, and food, without a few bugs...

the trip advisor people are often times retarded, she was probably a fat pig from nebraska and had 209209348 bags of cheetos and her face was covered in cheese bits and the bugs were like OMG HEAVEN.

Well, any other time I'd say that might not apply to me... but Coachella weekend, I might have Cheeto bits (or worse) on my face too... although with a fabulous marble bath at one's disposal, there really is no excuse. Fuck that scary fluorescent-lit plastic hell bathroom of Motel 6 Indio. The Horn-Phyllis Crew is upgrading this year.

We're thinking of renting a house in PS instead though. Seems like the same money for 3 bedrooms instead of 1, our own pool instead of wading in other people's piss and respecting closing times, lack of temptation to drink $15 poolside cocktails, etc. The deposit and cleaning fees you have to pay for a house are so prohibitive, though... They totally make sense, but that's why I'm thinking we might have to pack into a little 1-bedroom villa.

I have stayed there with friends-we had 2--3 bedroom villas. very nice but I didn't want to pay in advance thru an owner and thru the La Quinta resort it was very expensive . Also-if you want food and a big pool like a resort be sure you are at the front-check out a map because it is a pretty big development and each section has a small pool. But if you like to be around people and food-the frony section by the big pool is best.

The décor in the Indian Palms places that are up for rent is all so stodgy, and friends have had issues in the past with their weird neighborhood association.

Has anyone that has stayed in the La Quinta Villas in the past rented through Bill Wilson? I supposedly have a reservation for this year but the guy is impossible to get a hold of. I'm starting to wonder if I got scammed.....

Fool that place is a straight up party during Coachella. The way they encircle the pools in-between every 6 complexes. That shit is soo fun

Camping is going to be a blast, but La Quinta was always fun
