If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella
Even people mosh at BB shows
Those who mosh don't read message boards, or know how to use the internets.
I read the boards and I mosh
that's my video and that is my brother
Please don't listen to this tool. The pit is the easiest way for me to get away with feeling up on straight dudes. Mosh on.
This is the gayest thread I've ever seen.

this goes back to the beastie boys (in 03' or 04' not sure... that's how memorable they were to me) thing where they threatened to stop the show if people didn't stop moshing. i'm sorry by the time it's all said and done if you're traveling from any great sort of distance you're dropping around $1000. no matter where you're from it's serious cash to attend this. do (dance and that's debatable) how you want. i lost a ton of respect for the beasties at that show. actually left the set early to go watch someone else.
whether you agree with moshing or not, stop whining about it. here's a very simple solution... MOVE AWAY FROM IT! yeah i know it's stupid and moronic but i'm sure you do things that are stupid and moronic also. i'm pretty sure it's legal. so get over it. i don't wan't to hear the "you can hurt other people" thing either. you can hurt somebody throwing glow sticks around too but i don't see anybody starting threads about that. ok, i'm off my high horse. have fun.
That's so ironic, the craziest crowd i've EVER seen (and i've been to some of the craziest metal shows of all time) was actually Beastie Boys in Europe in '98...
yeah, i agree, it takes a real moron for someone NOT MOSHING to get hurt in a mosh pit... open your fucking eyes & be aware of your surroundings... sheesh!whether you agree with moshing or not, stop whining about it. here's a very simple solution... MOVE AWAY FROM IT! yeah i know it's stupid and moronic but i'm sure you do things that are stupid and moronic also.
besides, the only so-called "pits" last year were during Serj, Scars, Enter Shikari, Gogol, Flogging Molly & i think Slightly Stoopid, NONE of which are hard bands... Enter Shikari's was like 5 people and they were probably the "hardest"
ironically, the crowds you were most likely to get hurt in were Tegan & Sara, Pendulum, & Prince... none of which had mosh pits...
this year, the only bands you'll need to watch out for is Mastodon & Fucked Up...

I saw stupid pre-hipster bjork snobs rushing and fighting their way to the front in 10x the aggressive manner than the rage fans.
i fucking hate you bjork bitches. coachella's rudest crowd for sure!

Someone on here was telling me about a mosh pit forming during a Kratwerk set in Japan.
kinda dumb no?
Rhythm is a dancer.
That Scars on Broadway set looks empty. I knew it was poorly attended, but geez.
here's the thing: nobody in a mosh is trying to ruin it for anyone else. Some people just like to mosh to high energy acts. I'm one of those poeple. If you don't like it you can at least move. I'm not trying to ruin it for you, but it sounds like by making this thread you're trying to ruin it for me. Every time Ive been knocked down or anything in a pit ive been helped up and patted on the back. But when I saw Bjork in 07 I was sandwitched between like 50 people and some cunt behind me was screaming all the words at the top of her lungs. Now that ruined a show.
