dear and the headlights are one of the few good bands in AZ right now, if you're going to diss them come up with something better than comparing those two vids my friend.

also the nickelback song is my personal favorite ripoff

I'm excited for their set at Coachella. They're great in a small intimate venue so I'm interested to see how they do at such a big one.

So much hate. I'll admit I might be a little biased but they actually have a solid live set....and it's nothing like that godawful attempt at a music video.
this one is better, still doesn't do them justice but you get an idea at least

I'm a fan of these guys, but will most likely skip their Coachella set for two reasons...

1. I'm seeing them next week in Las Vegas

2. They are on Friday. Friday is insane.

Saw Dear and the Headlights last night (thanks again, Bobby!). They rocked it well! Very high energy....and it was a Tuesday night.

Talked to Ian Metzger for a few minutes....really nice guy. He said he and the band are REALLY looking forward to playing Coachella.

Dear god that's so blatant!!!!!!! That makes the Satriani-Coldplay case look like nothing! I've hated the Airborne Toxic Event from the beginning, but that's just ridiculous.

I see what you're talking about, but this is one where if ATE claimed it was by accident I would believe them. I bet they were high when they wrote the song and just had some LCD floating in their heads and didn't realize they were ripping any specific song off. I wonder if that was the Flaming Lips' problem when they ripped off Cat Stevens.
