I'll be there. This will be my third year. I got my low income ticket this year for only 110 so I'm really stoked. We should make an official board meet up thread in a couple weeks to see who all is going.. or i guess just turn this into the official meet up thread.

hey, I am I new to this message board. I am going to BM this year, first time, but I feel so ready and so prepared. I live in NY I am actually hoping to drive over there. I figure it would be about three days. Another option would be to fly into Cali or Reno and rent a car. I am actually looking for a group of people who may want to drive with me or who have plans to go and rent a car who maybe have an extra spot. I am a very chill and I love music and a good time. I would love to find a group of burners to share the experience with. And HEY if any one needs a ride and some company as well lemme know!!! Thanks all

It's not a music fest. It's more of a community of artists of every kind who make a pilgrimage to the middle of the desert to live for a week or so. It's mostly about sharing art, ideas and expression while sweating your ass off. I'm too much of a pussy to do it.

I know it isn't a music fest, but from what I know Dj's, and other musicians do come through and perform. I like the idea of getting lost for a whole week. It's so overpriced though.

It's like the Do-Lab x 1000. Mostly those kind of DJs in scattered systems all over the place from what I understand, although I haven't been in 13 years.

Right so, do people just not have any idea of who these big acts have been? That's what Sushy is asking. Who has played. I kinda doubt they are anyone I care about. I've never heard of anyone significant playing some super secret set at Burning Man.
