Yeah, I don't get it. It's all just over-played, radio pop-punk, that nobody has heard down in the states since it isn't good enough to get on a label that will get them airplay down here where Canadians come to make monies.

At least with Sum41 they all agreed they were all fuckups and drug users.

    would be a good question.

I saw billy talent at the warped tour when I was 14. they were good, but I haven't listened to them in a long long time. generally, they're not my bag, but maybe they've got something new and different coming out...
they can't still just be touring the same two albums.

I used to kind of like "Fat Lip" until just now when I watched that video. That's gawdawful.

I wonder how many mediocre bands get their weak reps completely ruined by how embarrassing they are to watch. I heard Panic At The Disco's first album long before I even saw a photo of them. I used to wonder why everyone hated them so much...then I saw a clip of them playing live. Blood curdling. (I still like the album, I just understand the hatred now.)

Back on topic...that BT music video is pretty bad, but the live clip is OK. They seem closer to Papa Roach than Sum 41. And compared to Papa Roach, they're 1000x better.

oh my god when a band gets a big audience they lose all punk rock credibility

that's why nofx and the casualties are so punk rock and they'll never get big

Didn't you say you listened to Sum41 when you were in 5th grade? Their first album came out in 2001. 5th graders are usually, what, ten or eleven years old? That would make you now about 18, and you're insulting people by saying they like music for 13 year olds? Get a few more years under your belt before you start insulting people for being young.

I saw sum 41 open up for motley crue. (I know, don't even start)
They sucked. They played a cover of hot for teacher and every body started cheering. I was booing because I was pissed off.

I'm glad I got to see Van Halen do the real thing with David Lee Roth at the staples center last year(or was it 2007) though. They still know how to put on a Great show.

insulting someone for being young? no, i would never do that because i am probably one of the youngest here on these boards

me finding it funny that someone likes a band (even though nobody here actually does like them) that i primarily listened to when i was in 5th grade and knew absolutely NOTHING about music? yes

my basic point, i think billy talent is better than sum41.
