I've spent an evening with The Beetroots (listening and watching videos). I'm honestly frightened I won't have a face past midday Saturday. It's going to be a jellied mess on the ground inside the Sahara.

I advise anyone who's even remotely thinking about stepping into the Sahara to check these guys out if you aren't already familiar.

I agree 100%. I watched one youtube video and was instantly hooked. These guys are one of my MUST SEE acts on saturday along with Fleet Foxes and Band of Horses.

I feel like they're going to blowup like Justice after they play...

Anyone know what masks they wear? I thought they were venom masks, but was told that it was some dark horse comic character that happened to look like venom.

it was a dark horse character that looked like venom, it was probably Grendal...

Underworld > everybody, but I'm fucking stoked for the Beetroots. No reason we can't all get along!

Do people actually complain when an artist isn't on a major label? Some of my favorite music comes from artists who're on smaller labels or NO label at all.

I saw these guys at DETOUR in LA some 4 weeks after my buddy gave me a CD full of their tracks.

Their show was some of the gnarliest heart pounding beat droppin shit i have ever experienced.

CRAZY TOWN dance party. I just hope they get a set after the sun goes down so i dont die.
