I sat in the north terrace for Radiohead in 2006, it was decent. It's off to the side, but you get a clear view, and I was in the last row. Saw a few people trying to sneak in through the woods, haha.

I heard that Tool played there and kept taking digs at the Church of Scientology (who own the Greek) throughout their set. That's about all I know in regards to the theater

I don't think there are too many seats at the Greek Theatre that aren't that great. Parking is REALLY shitty though.. it's stacked parking. It's not as bad as Glen Helen though.

I wasn't aware you could actually have seats at the Greek, in the assigned sense. For The Shins, The Pixies etc. I've always just picked my spot - seats, lawn or pit.

I sat on the terrace once. The reverb I got from the back of the hill was terrible. I'll never sit there again.

Not a big fan of the venue (saw Oasis/Black Crowes there). Unless you are really close, it's kinda hard to see the band. Prefer Hollywood Bowl (Willie Nelson/Ryan Adams/Neko Case) for outdoor LA shows...has a nice incline up, pretty sure they have tv monitors, and you can buy bottles of wine.

terrace can be good or bad, if you are sitting toward the center sections its great, but if you are sitting toward the edge of the venue you get a side view of the stage that can be a bit annoying...

hopefully I will be at conchords as well, missed both their sets at the orpheum last year.

you can buy wine at greek too, better to bring your wine to the bowl though. I like both venues but yeah I love hollywood bowl, I've seen so many great shows there.
