Mira Arroyo's set- awesome track selection, CANNOT mix. At all.

I remember hearing silence in between tracks.
Her track selection was amazing. When I walked in from outside and I heard her drop Enjoy the Silence, I lost it.

That was actually closer to center if not house-right, not stage-right. Stage-right is the right side of the stage as seen by the performer facing the crowd. But that doesn't matter hah

I know what I heard.

It's a rip that was from SebastiAn's DJ Set at the PIG Magazine 5th Birthday Party, on April 18th 2007. The ripped part starts at 2 mins, 51 sec. Here's the recording of that set: http://media.libsyn.com/media/pigrad...007-Milano.mp3

This was the first time that that version of that remix was recorded live / made its way to the internet. He, since then refined the remix and the one which was released awhile ago has some key differences.

So. That was lots of fun. But. I'm slightly disappointed. It was completely the wrong venue for Vitalic, which I already knew going in, but still, I couldn't help to think how much better it would be in a more appropriate space. He needed something bigger and with a better sound system. I really like the Empty Bottle, but it's a tiny rock club, not an electronic venue. His set sounded really smashed down and compressed and lost a lot of the subtleties that makes his music great. At one point he lost power on his equipment completely. Also, there's was 0% visuals, I'm assuming because there wasn't room on the stage. And he didn't play a bunch of my favorite songs (how the fuck can he not play "Poney Part 1"? seriously). I'm glad I got to see him but I really want him to take advantage of what the Sahara can offer.

I was just looking through URB's flickr set and saw a picture of a guy crowdsurfing and remembered the guy early on in the night (think during ladytron dj set) that jumped off the stage into the crowd and then a split second later hearing a loud thud. that shit was hilarious.
