Thread: ONE must see act of the weekend?

  1. #1

Default ONE must see act of the weekend?

If you had to choose one act to see this year, who would it be?

My choice is TV on the Radio. I have been diggin on them for some time now, and am anticipating a mind-blowing show. I can envision them performing DLZ live; "Never mind, death professor...."

    What does everybody else think?

haha i saw them live and they were totally boring... but i don't listen to that kind of music. However, I do know that people are crazy obsessed over them and fans have told me that their live shows are amazing. not my cup of tea, but if you're a fan, they'll "Blow your mind!"

I saw TV on the Radio and Bloc Party several years ago in a smallish theater and it was one of the best concerts i've been too. It will be interesting cuz at the time I didn't know TVOTR or their songs but now their one of my favs the second time around.

I really hope his set is similar to the one at Glastonbury although it probably won't be as long. It's his first U.S performance in 16 years. It will be incredible.

McCartney is supposedly planning a for 2009/2010. The Cure has a new album coming out and will probably continue touring through 2009 and if not, then in 2010. Patton & Rahzel will be cool.

I really look forward to him as well. He actually played New York not to long ago. Besides that one or two night gig, he hasn't played here in years

A couple folks have said they are good.
