What's the story with Deerhunter..they have a few albums before this, yet I've never head their name mentioned. Did a bunch of you listen to Deerhunter before last year? It's just interesting to me b/c it appears they just showed up on the radar.

i've always found deerhunter to be dull.
melodically, there are 100's of bands similar to them that do do it much better.
rhythmically, the same applies.
lyrically, same.

i just don't see much special about these guys. they just seem like a watered down indie band. and i love indie rock.

read it again slowly ... take a deep breath and stop being a douche ... they can be added in Coachella but am not holding my breath or really hoping for that since I'm going to see them a month before Coachella. there's just so many bands I want to see added at Coachella before Deerhunter ... seeing them once would make me happy

Deerhunter Reschedule European Tour

Atlanta drug-rockers and perennial Pitchfork faves Deerhunter were all set to embark on a European tour starting tonight in Prague, but unspecified health problems laid them up and forced them to postpone tour, as we reported.

But now they've rescheduled many of the shows for May.
